Tea tree oil is a natural essential oil known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Smelly feet are often caused by bacteria and fungi that thrive in warm, moist environments—especially inside shoes. Tea tree oil helps reduce the microorganisms responsible for foot odor while supporting healthier skin. For a natural approach, add a few drops of tea tree oil to warm water and soak your feet for 15–20 minutes a few times per week. You can also mix it with a carrier oil, like coconut or olive oil, and apply it to clean, dry feet—especially between the toes.
