Walk, Stand, then Sit

When it comes to your health, standing is better than sitting, and walking is better than standing. Walking promotes good circulation and helps you evenly distribute pressure and weight. Standing engages some muscles, but prolonged standing may lead to swollen legs and feet. While sitting is the worst of all, as it contributes to muscle degeneration, back pain and a foggy mental state.*

If you have an option, choose to stand before you sit, and choose to walk before you stand. If you must sit, make sure you’re engaging good posture, and if you must stand, try moving with some standing exercises such as calf lifts.
