Cutting edge X-ray equipment that requires zero rotation and no uncomfortable foot movements. Orthoscan with low radiation compared to traditional X-rays (and close detail of your feet and ankle.) Radiation-free Ultrasound machines that provide detail that other machines simply cannot match. Our equipment helps us make a proper diagnosis from day one.
We use the newest x-ray and digital radiography equipment to help diagnose your foot and ankle problems, especially conditions like heel spurs, fractures of any kind, bone tumors, and high or low arch. They’re fast, easy, and convenient — without having to rotate yourself in order for the machine to get the proper image, you can leave your foot in the same comfortable position throughout the process.
PERIPHERAL VASCULAR ANALYSIS
We do this to get an accurate measurement of blood flow in your feet and lower body. This helps us get a much better picture for treating assorted problems like peripheral vascular disease, diabetic ulcers, and neuropathy, etc.
COMPUTERIZED FLUOROSCOPY (ORTHOSCAN)
This form of diagnosis has major advantages over conventional x-rays: Negligible emission of radiation; “real-time” imaging with zoom-in for us to see every detail up close and instantly, so no need to develop films, no toxic solutions to pollute the environment.
MUSCULO-SKELETAL ECHOGRAPHY (ULTRASOUND)
This is commonly known as ultrasound, or sonography. We use the radiation-free soundwave these equipment project to get a detailed image of the soft tissues that don’t otherwise show up on x-rays. With ultrasound, we can determine the thickness of your plantar fascia, and we use it once every 4-6 weeks to monitor a patient’s progress.
