Morning Exercises for Your Feet
Jumping right out of bed in the morning with stiff muscles can cause foot pain. To avoid pain and inflammation, it is important to warm up your muscles before setting them on the ground. A routine morning stretch can be just what you need. Start with your legs stretched out in front of you, stretch your feet toward your head, then stretch away from it.*
You can massage your foot in the morning by rolling it over a tennis ball. You can also try picking a towel up off of the floor with your toes, which helps strengthen your toes and foot.
