If you are experiencing foot pain and still want to keep up with your workout routine, look for low-impact exercises that provide a great workout. Water exercises; such as deep-water aerobics, lap swimming, or water jogging, are a great way to keep up a cardiovascular exercise without adding more pressure to your injuries. Other low-impact exercises include: indoor cycling, yoga, and strength training. Remember to keep within your limits. For example, ease the tension on the flywheel in a cycling class to modify the workout to your limits. [1]
Never let an injury defeat you! Talk with your doctor about what your limit is on exercising and go find the right low-impact exercise for you.
