Cold Feet?

cold feetCold feet are most commonly a result of medical conditions that cause poor blood flow in the legs or feet, Raynaud’s phenomenon (cold sensitivity which causes a spasm of the blood vessels), and heart disease. Other potential causes of cold feet include hormonal abnormalities such as hypothyroidism and adrenal insufficiency, nerve disorders such as peripheral neuropathy and fibromyalgia, and autoimmune disorders (lupus, scleroderma).

Keep your feet warm by soaking in warm Epsom saltwater daily. Try a hot pack behind your knees to increase blood flow to the toes. Quit smoking and caffeine. The extracts of Ginkgo biloba leaves and fish oil supplements have shown to improve cold feet.[1]
