Injuries are inevitable when exercising, even if you are simply going for a jog after work. One injury prevention tip is having more than one pair of athletic shoes to alternate between exercise sessions. Wearing worn out shoes is one of the main causes of running injuries because as the support breaks down, it throws off your stability and stride. When your shoes have reached a mileage total of around 500 miles, you need to replace your shoes. Having at least two pairs of shoes will extend the life of your shoes, as well as give your feet more stability.[1]
Treat your feet right! Exercising puts strain on your body and the more support your can give each part, the better you will be!
