Stretch Your Heel Pain Away

Between desk jobs and time spent on the couch, most of us sit for too long and as a result, we suffer from stiff calf muscles. Stiff calf muscles could be to blame for your heel pain. When your calf muscles are tight, there is an abnormal pull on your plantar fascia (a tendon underneath your foot). Stretching your calves is a simple and proactive way to eliminate heel pain.*

For a simple calf stretch, sit down on the ground with your legs stretched out in front of you. Point your toes toward the front part of your shins and hold for 10 seconds for a tension-releasing stretch. Repeat this stretch 10 times for optimal results.
